Home Stagers / Real Estate Merchandisers, who are brought into the picture early enough in the home selling process, can bring to the table and contribute a substantial amount of knowledge, skills, talents and expertise that can be of priceless value to a home seller.  A good Home Stager / Real Estate Merchandiser can be a wonderful partner in the home selling process - especially when he or she becomes involved right from the very beginning.  Up until now, Home Stagers have typically dealt exclusively on the level of transforming a home so that it is appealing to the eye and pleasing to view (decorating). Basic, Traditional Home Staging VS Real Estate Merchandising  

As we have already said, but it really doesn't hurt to say this again - basic, traditional Home Staging lacks the added dimension of the Merchandising component. The old school home staging of the past is much more simplistic in nature then what is demanded of today's evolving and competitive marketplace. Traditional home staging work is typically completed quickly (often times within only a few hours), budgets are low, and the focus is primarily on making due with what is already available in the sellers home.  With traditional Home Staging, the effectiveness and outcome of the work is often times highly compromised.  The result is therefore very likely to be much less effective than when full-service, well rounded, well strategized, next generation, properly targeted Real Estate Merchandising is introduced.
